MBA @ IET: The Institution of Engineering and Technology for the ARCHICAD USER CONFERENCE 2018

We were invited to a free 1-day User Conference the past Tuesday 8th May 2018 before the commercial release of ARCHICAD 22.

It was the first time that we were be able to see the new features of ARCHICAD 22 in action before it's available anywhere and to meet the GRAPHISOFT UK team along with key speakers from the Graphisoft Budapest headquarters and the design community.

At this event, we also heard trends and drivers in the architectural design industry. We have learned about this incredible software from fellow architects and industry professionals.

The day began with David Philp of Digital Built Britain and Director at AECOM, who provided and an update on where we are now and what is coming, with the challenges and opportunities for architects who have been created from the transition of the industry to BIM.

During the lunch break we were able to talk with colleagues who use this program and we have discovered up a new world with this new version of this BIM software.

Mae’s Alex Ely, he presented at social housing design and possible solutions to the housing crisis. Akos Pfemeter, Graphisoft’s VP of Marketing and Product Management, expained how Artificial Intelligence is revolutionising our work and home lives plus how this has influenced ARCHICAD 21 & 22.

For the 4th year also has been presented the GRAPHISOFT UK and Ireland ARCHICAD Awards at this event.
